TracePorter Privacy Policy

Scope

This policy explains how TracePorter handles information when you use the iPhone and iPad app and its support pages.

Data You Create

Endpoint cards, probe notes, probe results, latency values, and app preferences are stored locally on your device. TracePorter does not require an account and does not operate cloud sync.

Network Activity

The app connects to the network when you run endpoint checks, open the website or privacy page, or when the app performs basic operational checks needed for app availability. These requests may process device type, app version, system version, request time, and a device identifier for app operation, basic statistics, troubleshooting, and security maintenance.

Device Identifier

TracePorter may store an app-specific device identifier in Keychain so that operational checks can recognize the same installation. Local PIN data, if created by the app flow, is stored in app preferences and not in Keychain.

Third Parties

TracePorter does not include advertising, account analytics, social login, or cross-app tracking. Network destinations you choose to probe may receive the technical requests you initiate.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We do not share local route cards or probe history with advertisers.

Retention

Local records remain on your device until you delete them or remove the app. Basic operational logs, if received by the service endpoint, are kept only as long as needed for operation, troubleshooting, and security maintenance.

Your Choices

You can edit or delete route cards in the app, clear the local deck, and uninstall the app to remove local app data from the device.

Children

TracePorter is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.

Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect app operation. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Changes

We may update this policy. The updated date above will change when the policy is revised.
